We have a heat pump in place with duct work with returns through out the house. The system did a great job in the summer. I am wondering what it would cost to change to a propane powered gas furnance.

Do you want to do a complete change over or keep the heat pump and add a propane powered gas furnace?

We have an electric furnace, heat pump and air conditioner that need to be replaced. We’d like to get an Infinity 96 converted to propane, a new heat pump and air conditioner. These items would be controlling the environment in a one story house that is approximately 2745 s.f. The ductwork runs throughout the whole house, and can stay in place. About how much should this new kit cost?

I have a 16 SEER Rheem Heat Pump, but want to add a 95% gas furnace. How important is it to match brands (or not necessary)? Trying to decide between Rheem and Carrier for the furnace. Recommendation? Thanks.

Unless it is part of a commnunicating system (Like the Carrier Infinity with all the bells and whistles) you should not be locked into 1 specific brand. Thanks!
